Pond Island:---TelEm Group offices will remain closed today, due to deteriorating weather conditions.
The decision was announced at approximately 7:30 am Monday morning by the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Kendall Dupersoy following consultation with management and technical staff.
“Flash flooding conditions and the spells of lighting we experienced Sunday night and into Monday morning makes it prudent to close to the staff and public, also become some of the roads leading to the Main office on Pond Island is also flooded,” said the CEO.
TelEm Group personnel are requested to check with the Managers for further information and to monitor the online, print and electronic media for further information.
It is anticipated that Tuesday will be a regular work day when TelEm Group offices are expected to reopen to the public and staff.
