Rotary hosts Children's Christmas Party in Dutch Quarter.

rotaryhostschildrensxmaspartyindq11122012With the assistance of the Dutch Quarter Community Center, in particular Morrasia Nicolas, the center was transformed into a festive Christmas scene. One hundred and five children from the Dutch Quarter area were visited by non other than Santa Clause himself. While arriving not by sleigh, but by motorcar, Santa came bearing several heavy bags. So after feasting on Pizza, Juice, cupcakes and singing Christmas Carols Santa gave the children their most anxiously awaited treat, the presents of course.
The contributions made by Domino's Pizza, Carl & Sons, Music Man, Office World and Afoo, helped to make this community service project a success. The Rotary Club of St. Maarten would like to take this opportunity to thank all who throughout 2012 have supported the activities of the club with funds and deeds alike. Without this support, projects like the children's Christmas party in Dutch Quarter would not be possible. Best wishes for the holidays from President Robert Judd and the entire membership of the Rotary Club of St. Maarten.
