SIMPSON BAY:--- Under the theme, "Santa is Coming to Candy Land," the Princess Juliana International Airport hosted yet another successful Children's Christmas Party at the Rock House at Port de Plaisance on Sunday.
It was really a family affair as staff of the SXM Airport came out with their children to usher in the Christmas season with singing, dancing, face painting, gift-giving and the annual parade with Santa and his Helpers. There was also food and drinks in abundance and a "Dip your own marshmallow" stand, which was a hit among the children.
"I am happy to see the PJIAE family gather once again in the spirit of Christmas to spread joy among one another," said Managing Director Regina LaBega.
"Everyone enjoyed themselves, especially the young ones," she added, pointing to the fact that the SXM Airport Activities Committee did "a very good job."
The SXM Airport Children's Christmas Party was coordinated by Melba Zabala of the Human Resource Department.
