These items were given under the project "Strengthening Laboratory Capacity and Biorisk Management," which is being funded through the Canadian Global Partnership Programme's strategy for strengthening global biological security.
The project aims to strengthen laboratory capacity and biorisk management in CAREC and CMC's and reinforcing capacities for safe and rapid sampling and shipping of specimens to local, regional and/or international laboratories. Enhancing the sampling and transport chain is essential to reinforce the global biological risk management process.
