PHILIPSBURG:--- Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), is in the process of updating their database of contractors on Sint Maarten.
The Ministry is inviting all general contractors and heavy equipment owners interested in participating in any upcoming clean-up projects to an informative meeting on Friday, April 19 at the Ministry VROMI, Savance Building (next to Carl's & Sons on the Pondfill), starting at 9:00am.
Information will be provided about preparations for the 2013 Hurricane Season.
Contractors and heavy equipment owners are requested to bring along their equipment list, crib number of their company as well as contact information. The information is very important in the event Ministry VROMI needs to call on contractors before or after a storm.
Ministry VROMI Operations Manager Eldemiro Jansen and Project Manager Hensley Kwidama will be present for the meeting.
