The Police Traffic Department and the Sint Maarten Harbor Group of Companies are making an appeal to all stakeholders and general public, that in connection with the arrival of the Causeway swing bridge due to arrive on May 2nd, to pay keen attention to all traffic diversions that will take place. On May 3rd between 1:30pm and 3:30pm the Simpson bay bridge will be opened to allow the cargo vessel carrying the swing bridge to come through the channel. Traffic coming from and going towards the airport will be diverted through the French side of the island. Everyone is asked to cooperate as much as possible with this temporary traffic diversion.
