SIMPSON BAY:--- The Simpson Bay Lagoon Authority Corporation (SLAC) would like to remind then general public about the introduction of its high tourist season for the Simpson Bay Bridge which is located opposite the Royal Palm Hotel. This schedule which is effective Monday, November 18 has nothing to do with the Causeway Bridge.
Motorists and other road users should take the new season bridge operational times for the Simpson Bay Bridge into consideration when heading to or coming from work, and for visitors who are heading to the Princess Juliana International Airport.
The opening times are as follows:
8:30 hrs Outbound Traffic
9:30 hrs Inbound Traffic
10:30 hrs Outbound Traffic
11:30 hrs Inbound Traffic
15:00 hrs Inbound Traffic
16:00 hrs Outbound Traffic
17:00 hrs Inbound Traffic
An assessment will be made after three months to determine if any changes are to be made to the time manual.
