Tere Moana visiting destination this season.

teremoana28112013POINT BLANCHE:--- On Saturday the small cruise vessel Tere Moana will dock at the Port of St. Maarten, the first time for the season on its inaugural call where the plaque exchange will take place between the Captain and port officials.

Port management is very pleased that Paul Gauquin Cruises has included the destination in their itinerary for the cruise season. This demonstrates that the destination not only is a hive for the big cruise lines, but also attracts and caters to small niche cruise lines as well.

The Tere Moana is one of the cruise lines new luxurious ships which were christened on December 29, 2012 in Marigot. After that the vessel set sail on its inaugural seven-night Caribbean voyage to visit the islands of the French West Indies, British Virgin Islands, and St. Kitts & Nevis.

The Moana offers an elegant and casual ambiance. The vessel is 330 feet long and 46 feet wide; and accommodates 90 guests with a staff of 60.

Owned by Pacific Beachcomber S.C., French Polynesia's leading luxury hotel and cruise operator, Paul Gauguin Cruises operates the 5+star m/s Paul Gauguin.

The cruise line's second ship is the m/v Tere Moana. This vessel sails Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America.
