Great Bay:---- The Sint Maarten Christian Party was shocked and very much saddened by the news of the terrorist attacks that took place in France on Friday last, that left 129 people dead and more than 350 wounded, many of whom are in critical condition.
On behalf of the Board and supporters of the SMCP I would like to extend sincere condolences to the families and friends of those persons who lost their lives in this senseless killing spree. We pray that the Almighty God would give them strength, peace and courage as they reminisce the lives and mourn the passing of their deceased love ones. We also pray for healing for those who were wounded as well as for those who have been emotionally traumatized by this pointless attack.
As the happenings in France will also impact all French overseas territories we hereby wish to let our brothers and sisters on the French side know that we are also in solidarity with you. We grieve with you and pray that the Almighty God will give you grace and strength in these trying times. May God bless you all!
