Glen Daniel failed screening process --- civil case with his sisters hindered the process.

PHILIPSBURG: --- The candidate Minister for the Justice Ministry Glen Daniel has failed the screening process. SMN News understands that Daniel failed the screening process due to a civil procedure that involves him and his sisters.
Prime Minister William Marlin met with Governor Eugene Holiday on Wednesday to discuss the reports submitted by VDSM on the two remaining Ministers. On Thursday the governor sent out a press release stating that the Minister of VROMI will be sworn in on Friday but no mention was made about the other candidate, upon further research SMN News learnt that Daniel failed the screening based on a civil case he had with his sisters which involved succession properties.
SMN News further learnt that members of VDSM went with Daniel to his notary and lawyer requesting information on the civil case but both parties denied VDSM the information they wanted citing that the case between the Daniel siblings is not a criminal case and as such they are not turning over information that involves civil cases to them.
SMN News learnt that members of VDSM visited one of the Daniel sibling while they also tried to contact a broadcaster to obtain a taped interview during the screening process. It is not known if the Daniel sibling turned over any information to VDSM but the individual told several persons that they would ensure that Glen Daniel does not pass the screening because it has been years now they are fighting in courts both on St. Maarten and Curacao over family inheritance.
SMN News tried contacting MP Frans Richardson for a comment now that his candidate Minister failed the screening but MP Richardson could not be reached.
