For more than 45 years, the Christmas House, also known as the Maison du Père Noël, has been bringing the magic of Christmas to Cripple Gate, Saint-Martin. To prepare for the 2026 edition, its organizers are launching an online fundraising campaign on GoFundMe, aiming to raise €10,000.
MARIGOT:--- Every year, as the festive season approaches, the house in Cripple Gate lights up and welcomes young and old from across the island. Its decorations, lights, and displays make it one of Saint-Martin's most anticipated Christmas events. This family tradition has lasted more than 45 years thanks to the passion and volunteer work of the people who keep it alive.
To make the 2026 edition even more beautiful, the team needs support. The funds raised will renew the decorations and lights, buy materials, create a new installation, and cover the costs of opening and welcoming visitors. Preparations have already begun, so the campaign is launching now.
The association Good Friends runs the campaign, which will remain open until 15 December. Everyone can take part, whatever the amount, at gofund.me/43ba6cbbb. Sharing the campaign around you is another way to help.
We'll unveil the theme of the 2026 edition in the coming weeks. The house opens to the public on 6 December 2026.
“For more than 45 years, this house has belonged a little to all of Saint-Martin. Every Christmas, we see children filled with wonder, and parents who came here themselves when they were small. With this support, we want to keep writing this beautiful Christmas story with everyone.”
says Monique Joe, President of the association Good Friends.
