The Ministry Of VROMI is hereby informing the general public and in particularly the users of the Great Bay beach that due to weather conditions and high water levels of the Great Salt pond, the Ministry will be operating the storm water pumping facility during the following hours:
Wednesday August 22nd 2012 from 6:00 AM until further notice.
Due to the possible contamination of the pond water it is advised to not swim in the Great Bay area for a period of 12 hours after the finishing of the pumping cycle or until the water has been deemed clear of any and all possible contamination that could have been related to the discharging of said pond water.
The Ministry apologizes for any and all inconveniences this might have on the beach users and/or other affected entities and businesses.

check the dirty water from the sewer that will go in the lagoon
at Tropicana, when this is open.
Can you imagine the germs, in the lagoon.
They know it is sewer, why not check all homes in the area for their cesspools.
Will the exit for all this water be dredged.
This is nasty, and people catch fish in the lagoon to eat.
