Philipsburg:--- On Friday May 31st, 2013, Police Major Giovanni Sprott received his long awaited promotion to police inspector. Sprott was given his Landsbesluit (decree) by the Honorable Acting Minister of Justice Roland Tuitt in the presence of the Chief of Police and other colleagues during a ceremony held on that day at the Philipsburg Police Station. Inspector Sprott was congratulated by the minister and encouraged to continue doing the fine job he has been doing.
