Suspended Officer York Performa hearing scheduled for September 2nd --- PI ongoing.

rishmeryork08072015PHILIPSBURG:--- The performa hearing for suspended police officer Rishmer ‘Redrum” York who is in police custody for the shooting death of Ackeem Isidora is scheduled for September 2nd 2015 while the actual court case should take place at the end of October 2015 confirmed press prosecutor Karola van Nie. Ackeem Isidora was shot to death on the evening of March 4th 2015 next to his Belvedere home. Relatives of the late Ackeem Isidora including his mother Jenifer Isidora told SMN News that York was constantly harassing her son including the day he shot him to death. She said York even arrested her son not far from his home for the lack of an identification card. Mrs. Isidora said in an earlier interview that even though she ran out of her house with her late son’s passport York insisted and arrested her son and took him to the Philipsburg Police Station where he was later released.
Prosecutor Van Nie said that the Preliminary Inquiry (PI) is still ongoing while York was ordered to undergo a physiological evaluation. Asked when the actual court case will go before the court prosecutor Van Nie said it should be scheduled for the end of October 2015. Van Nie said that witnesses are still being heard by the judge of instruction (PI) and after that the performa hearing will take place on September 2nd. This she said will give the prosecution the opportunity to lay out its case before the court while the lawyers representing the suspect will get an opportunity to go deeper in the files that were turned over to them
York is accused of firing three shots on the night of March 4th 2015 from his service revolver, two of which hit Ackeem Isidora who died on the spot while the third shot ended up in a wall as it missed its target who happens to be Junior Isidora. Prosecutor Van Nie said that York will be charged with murder or manslaughter.
While the Prosecution and the national detectives knew York fired those deadly shots it took them months before they actually arrested the suspect. A detective working for the National Detective Department was sent home on April 23rd 2015 citing that he is under investigation for dereliction of duties. It should be noted that Officer York called that detective on the day of the deadly shooting and told him he was going to “take out” Isidora whom he claimed was harassing his girlfriend.
Investigations done by SMN News revealed that the detective in question is related to the late Akeem Isidora and he once spoke to officer York about the alleged harassment, further to that it is also understood that on the day of the shooting York called the detective twice who spoke to him and ordered him to leave the area. Shortly after the crime was committed York was suspended by KPSM as well as the detective who gave a sworn statement to the National Detectives about the phone call he received.
