PHILIPSBURG:--- Officer Rishmer York who was charged with murder/manslaughter is set to appear before the Court of First Instance on October 28th 2015. On Wednesday (September 2nd) was the performa hearing where a number of witnesses were heard.
Prosecutor Karola Van Nie said the case is now set for October 28th 2015.
Officer Rishmer York is the main suspect accused of shooting to death Ackeem Isidora on March 4th 2015 across from his Belvedere Home.
Isidora died on the spot while another shot was also fired from the officer’s firearm towards Junior Isidora but that bullet missed its target and ended up in a wall.
