PHILIPSBURG:--- Author, radio host and youth ambassador, Ralph Cantave will present at a lecture he is hosting at the University of St. Martin titled, “Millennial Matters.” Cantave recently published his book, “Words of Change” and sold hundreds of copies locally during the fall of 2016. At the lecture Cantave will be highlighting issues that the young people of his generation are concerned with and issues that he believes, they need to take into consideration. It will take place on Thursday night January 12. His presentation is based on his book which is a compilation of articles and essays about culture, politics and history on St. Maarten. Cantave has always been a staunch advocate for culture studies and youth empowerment. The lecture is free and open to the general public. It will commence at 7pm and end at 9pm. After the lecture there will be an open floor session where Cantave will have a discussion with the audience. The lecture will take place in room 202.
