PHILIPSBURG:--- In connection with the Junior Carnival Parade scheduled for Sunday, April 15th the Police Department is announcing the following road closures. The parade will at 01.00 p.m. sharp from the parking lot of Le Grand Marche;
At 01.20 p.m. Bush road will be closed at Church Hill roundabout. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Zagersgut road. Bush road will be closed at Zagersgut road. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Church Hill roundabout. Prins Bernard Bridge will be closed, however, traffic will be allowed on the Bush road only in the direction to Philipsburg.
At 01.40 p.m. Zagersgut road will be closed at Bush road. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Bush road.
At 02.30 p.m. A.Th. Illidge road and Longwall road will be closed at Prins Bernard Bridge. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Walter Nisbet road. Walter Nisbet road will be closed at Percy Labega Street. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Prins Bernard Bridge.
At 03.10 p.m. Walter Nisbet road will be closed at Tamarinde Steeg. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Prins Bernard Bridge.
At 03.40 p.m. Walter Nisbet road will be closed at Hensy Beaujon Street. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Prins Bernard Bridge.
At 04.10 p.m. Walter Nisbet road will be closed at Codville Webster Street No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Prins Bernard Bridge.
At 04.40 p.m. Walter Nisbet road will be closed at Salt Pickers Roundabout. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Prins Bernard Bridge. Soualiga Boulevard will be closed at Rock Salt Drive. No traffic will be allowed in the direction of Salt Pickers roundabout.
All other alleys and tracks along the route of the parade will be closed for motor vehicle traffic during the passing of the parade. All streets, alleys, and tracks will be reopened as soon after the parade has passed.
After the parade has passed Salt Pickers roundabout will be partially closed allowing traffic to flow on the W.A Nisbet road in the of Prins Bernard Bridge and Freedom Fighters roundabout until pedestrian traffic.
All drivers are hereby advised to take keen note of this information and take all measures to avoid any necessary inconvenience or delays.
