Well theo have no other choice but to team up with Gracita. She has a strong administrative background in constitutional affairs something he never really cared for. You see the results this election. He had nothing to prove to the voters. His accomplishments were nihil. So this is a new beginning with Theo and Gracita. I knew that Theo would not go back to DP after I heard Sarah bash Theo and his whole family on the last night of the election. I was there and that is when I decided never to vote for that woman again. She and her team of Women can go rest their tiredd selves. I hope that these two dynamic leaders can put a good list together and win at least 6 seats. Marlin and Theo are working together right now, so the next government should be green and Blue. PPA still has a lot of votes and Gracita has the know how. so June is D day for St. Maarten.

Why would the Dutch possibly have a problem with an arab in government? Or the US for that matter? Apart from Theo's supposed attempt to recreate a Benneton ad, a person elected is (hopefully) done so by way of merit, if not appeal. So if an arab proves to be a fitting candidate and/or crowd-winner, I don't see how either country would be shocked, especially with Obama as president and Ahmed Aboutaleb, an arab, as mayor of Rotterdam.

As far as my wary eyes can tell, Theo's veil of founding a "green" party is a thin one. The carbon dioxide emissions of such a small island are of little significance as is. And I can't help but feel that investing in greener forms of energy and industry will needlessly cripple the island's already fragile economy. However, investing in the conservation of what little natural beauty our side of the island has left wouldn't be a bad idea in my opinion. That is, if it will ever make the agenda.

Theo, you do get the job done, I wish you understood the dynamics of running a country. If you want to improve St. Maarten, then start looking out for the St. Maarten people too. You have a proven track record handling projects. You and your advisors see green in projects,project, projects. I admire your ability to go after the green. But take some of that green and invest it in the prople of St. Maarten. The masses are incapable of putting two good sentences together and that is the downfall of past govenments lack of vision for the country. You can work as hard as you want to develop the country and a dumb fool can destroy it all in a night but doing in a few tourist and then all the infrastructure in the world can't get St. Maarten back on her feet. An uneducated population is a worthless population. You might remain KING for a while in your uneducated kingdom, but when the uneducated realize that he is not progressing while the country is moving forward, he will be a disgruntled subject. What is the big deal about having an Arab, Chinese or Indian on the list? Why highlight them? Are they worth more than the locals that may be on the list? I noticed lately that every time that there is an election more focus is put on those persons that are not from here than on those that are from here. Is that a new trend? I am not saying that they should be treated differently, but why so much extra attention. Sometimes our people can be so hypocritical. It seems as if people like Theo would sell his soul just to remain in power. He cannot stand William, and he wanted long time ago to overthrow Sarah. That is the people's money that he is managing. That is not his money. He can do favors for big investors that would help him to get great sponsorship during the Elections, so that he can in turn go out and buy the voters in order to be elected again. Do not be fooled. He got very scared when the National Alliance sweeped the 3 seats, and now he is desperate. He wants to stay in government at all cost, and that is not a good sing.

Theo should take back the DP and put Sarah # 2. Sxm is not ready to give in to the Indians, Chinese or Arabs. They have not proven their love for Sxm. They are only taking and taking. They divide sxmers (families) and than they conquer (take the land and businesses), while sxmers are fighting and killing each other. Look around people this is a fact. Theo should return to the DP. Theo should set down conditions the party must follow before he returns. Sarah and Theo should meet before the membership and discuss who gets leader and who gets deputy. Maybe the DP should allow Theo the leadership and allow Sarah no. 2 for her to gear down in preparation to resign from active politics but we still need Sarah for constitutional affairs for atleast the next two governing terms.
