I know this person, he is not the person he is being said to be in this news. he is just a victim being used to cover up for those who are corrupt, things got hot for them and they needed to blame someone to get out of the attention. As for the suspect, I'll grant him his day in court recognizing his right to be considered 'innocent until proven guilty'.

This is what happens: The inspectors visits a business (store, restuarant ect) the boss tell them that they can have a watch, tv, or anything they like. The restuarant would ask them to bring their family to have dinner anytime. This softens the inspectors, they start to feel like these people care about them and their families.
Here comes the bomb: The boss now wants to know what/how he can get things done fast without going the straight and narrow road. The stupid inspector feels applicated so "helps" this boss out forgetting that not everybody in his dept or another is his friend to enable this thing to get through. So it is stuck, the boss get frustrated because he did not get what he paid (with jewelry, nice clothes, food) for. People stop excepting "gifts" from these people to the boss it is considered as payment for whenever you are call on to perform. ;-) ;-)

I don't know Trinidad, but what I do know is that Public Works has many top persons there who have been engaged in fraudulent behavior. What the people want to know is

1. What happened to the SOAB case where Buncamper, Dollison, Marieke Zadelhoff, Henry Ellis, Delano Richardson, Victor Bonalaire and others were implicated? Why didn't the prosecutor do his job here?

2. What happened to the TELEM case of the Buncampers? Why didn't the prosecutor do his job here?

3. What happened to the land fraud cases (Pondfill and Point Blanche) by the Buncampers? Why didn't the prosecutor do his job here?

4. What happened to the vote buying case by Theo Heyliger? Why didn't the prosecutor do his job here?

5. What happened to those police officers, civil servant and VKS who took bribe money from Theo Heyliger's election camp? Why didn't the prosecutor do his job here?

6. What happened to the selling of government owned land by Patrick Illidge to the Guyanese man and also Sarah Wescott selling of government land? Why didn't the prosecutor do his job here?

7. What is happening to that serious complaint against the prosecutor by an inmate? Why isn't the prosecutor doing his job here?

8. Like someone stated earlier, the Canadian stole money from Maho Hotels and is allowed to walk free. Why isn't the prosecutor doing his job here?

There will continue to be lawlessness in this country as long as the prosecutor is behaving like South Africa during the Apartheid Regime. Prosecute the Black and poor and turn a blind eye to the wrongs of the Whites, Mulattoes or rich. When the people feel that justice is not served equally, they will seek their own justice. First against their own and later on against the ones they feel are being unjust or protected. This is not a fairy tale, one needs only look at history to find many examples of such.
