A resounding endorsement for Team Daniel Gibbs.

Categorically this has been one of the most exciting, engaging and enlightening elections that French St. Martin has ever experienced. Even more than most political parties on Dutch St. Martin, the six political parties made an effort to articulate a vision, or rather an outline of some perspective for the future of the island.
Needless to mention, obviously some performed better than others. Moreover, the St. Martins' population, too, exercised their democratic right to vote exemplarily with prudent conduct that deserves great commendation. Considering the intensity that is inherently part of any competitive election, the people did well -- while exercising much civility.
They decisively unearthed years of perpetual deceptions by institutional parties of the past and by extension clearly rejected the existing ruling party, namely the UP Party. This brings us to a historical, nonetheless critically important, Sunday election. It would be shameful that if the development program for the French side is rejected by its people, would be projected on the Dutch side of the island.
Although Mr. Alain Richardson and the RRR Political Party may have good intentions and fine personalities, albeit with a condensed vision, they made a good showing.
Meanwhile, Team Daniel Gibbs provided us with a serious breath of fresh air. Instead of relying on a state-driven welfare program, his party has unquestionably provided the people of St. Martin with an outstanding ambitious vision that we desperately need. Not only did the team articulate a holistic approach to our socio-economic crisis situation, but it also sought to immediately address the major requirements.
Particularly, our frightening unemployment situation literately requires stimulating the private sector; that is our greatest need for rebuilding this country from its present inevitable economic collapse. Compared, along with, the many other areas that is in need of immediate attention -- such as: the financial arrears of the Collectivité, constitutional status, education, tourism, transportation systems, and the development of a global trade center -- we need a highly competent leader.
After listening to Dr. Daniel Gibbs' various arguments, I realized that seldom do we as a people have such a distinguished scholarly Ph.D. degree that is making their talent, professional expertise and experience available, in order to lead the island from the abyss. I bid him and his team God's speed, wisdom and courage to pursue what I believe is a divinely ordained mission for this country and its people. It is my hope and desire that the majority of all voters registered to this lovely island would empower this collective vision with their vote for Dr. Gibbs Team on Sunday. May God bless you all!

Yours truly,
