SIMPSON BAY:--- The students and teachers of the Prince Willem Alexander School have already started their Christmas celebration at the school for special education. Over 50 students, along with their teachers and school staff, were treated to a pre-Christmas breakfast by the Princess Juliana International Airport last Friday. Representing SXM Airport was its Business Development Officer, Daphne Roberts-Nicholson (in photo, offering breakfast drink to students). Roberts-Nicholson also assisted with sharing the breakfast meal in the school's assembly hall in St. Peters. Earlier this year, SXM adopted the Prince Willem Alexander School and has since assisted with school repairs and facilitated a WINAIR flight tour around the island. In addition, SXM's Section Head Security Guards, Elsidro St. Jago, was the school's graduation guest speaker in June. According to SXM Managing Director Regina LaBega, the adoption of Prince Willem Alexander School is in keeping with SXM's community involvement as "a good corporate citizen." (SXM Airport Photo)
