annmarielynch02012013Philipsburg:--- The police and other persons related to Annmarie Lynch (41) are still busy looking for the missing woman, confirmed Chief Prosecutor Hans Mos. When asked if the investigation has been upgraded from missing person to a homicide investigation, Mos said that his office and the police have not ruled out any possibilities. Annmarie Lynch is an employee of Pineapple Pete's Restaurant and she has been missing since December 22nd, 2012. Co-workers of the missing woman are suspicious of the Annemarie's boyfriend whom they know as "Wallace or Serge, he is also a national of Jamaica." One of the co-workers who preferred not to have her name mentioned in the news said she has become fearful since the first publication in one of the daily newspapers where her name was mentioned. The woman said on December 22nd, Lynch told her that she was having some serious trouble with her boyfriend because he found out that she had some monies and he wanted to know where she got it from. The woman said that night "Wallace" picked up Annemarie from work like he did every night and that Sunday the woman did not report to work. She said they made several phone calls to the woman's phone but the telephone was switched off. The co-worker said that on Tuesday the chef of Pineapple Pete's contacted the woman's boyfriend to inquire about her whereabouts and he told the chef that the woman was okay. However, on Tuesday December 25th 2012, Annemarie's 24 year old daughter who lives in Jamaica contacted one of her friends to find out if they knew where her mother was because the last time she heard from her mother was Saturday December 22nd, 2012. The woman said Annmarie's best friend whom she identified as Michelle contacted her boyfriend who told her he did not see Annmarie since Sunday December 23rd, 2012. "Michelle then contacted the chef of Pineapple Pete's to see if the Annmarie was at work and it was then they realized that the boyfriend was not truthful and something was amiss about her whereabouts." The co-worker said that Michelle and the chef both visited the Philipsburg Police Station and they informed the police and the police accompanied them to Annemarie's apartment to see if she was inside the house.
