Central Committee Meeting with Minister of Public Health Postponed; Justice Minister Meets Central Committee on Wednesday.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The Central Committee meeting that was scheduled for January 22 with the Minister of Public Health Hon. Cornelius de Weever has been postponed.

The postponement is in connection with the working visit of Dutch Minister of Home Affairs Ronald Plasterk who will be meeting with the Council of Ministers on Tuesday.

The Central Committee meeting was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at 2:00pm in the General Assembly Chamber of the House of Parliament at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.

This meeting was a continuation from last year with respect to the St. Maarten Medical Center.

Members of Parliament (MPs) from the Permanent Justice Committee will be visiting the Point Blanche Prison on Wednesday, 23 January at 9:00am.

Members of the parliamentary committee of Justice are Chairman Hon. MP Patrick Illidge, Vice Chairman Hon. MP George Pantophlet, Hon. MP Petrus Leroy De Weever, Hon. MP Gracita Arrindell, and Hon. MP Janchi Leonard.

A Central Committee meeting is planned for Wednesday afternoon January 23 at 2:00pm. It is a continuation of a meeting from the latter part of 2012 with the Minister of Justice Hon. Roland Duncan, where the Minister made a presentation about the Justice Park. Minister Duncan will be present in this meeting to respond to questions that were posed to him during the 2012 parliamentary session.

Members of the public are always welcome to be present in the General Assembly Chamber during public meetings to follow the parliamentary session scheduled for that particular day.

The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House.
