PUBLIC NOTICE: Ministry of VROMI Cleaning up Building Permit Backlog.

Philipsburg (DCOMM):--- The Ministry of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure (VROMI), in accordance with article 4 of the National Ordinance Announcement and Enactment (A.B. 2010, GT no. 21), hereby informs the public of the following:

The Ministry of VROMI, department of Permits is in the processes of cleaning up the backlog on pending permits in an interest to better serve the public and applicants needing permits for land development activities. To this end it is necessary to finalize the processing of all permit applications that have been pending response from applicants.

Applicants who have pending permits applied for until 2011, including approved building permits not yet issued due to unpaid building fees, will have 28 (calendar) days after publication to report to the Department of Permits at the Ministry of VROMI, in order to take the necessary steps needed to complete the permitting process.

After these 28 days have expired and if no response received from the applicant, the pending request will be considered incomplete and the processing of the applications will be discontinued.

Applicants will receive notice thereof in accordance with article 20 and article 21, section 2 of the Building Ordinance (P.B. 1935, nr. 64). Thereupon the provisions of the National Ordinance on Administrative Procedures (LAR, P.B. 2001, nr. 79) are applicable.
