Program will be held June 24-30 on St. Maarten
Philipsburg:--- Local Award winning dancer Nicole C. De Weever recently received donations from ORCO Bank, The Daily Herald and Mercuur Medical for the summer project-Art Saves Lives. Donations were also received from the Bardfield family, Bureau Telecommunications and Post St. Maarten and Mrs. Merle Solomons. Ms. De Weever was very grateful for the donations and looked forward to bringing a range of artists from the United States and St. Maarten to conduct an intensive 12 hour 1 week program promoting careers in the arts.
Ms. De Weever was especially grateful to the Bardfield Family, Bureau Telecommunications and Post St. Maarten and Mrs. Mercuur who were the first to support the project.
The donated funds will help ALSP bring this project to fruition, serve local youth who are interested in a career in the arts and strengthen the performing arts on the St. Maarten.
