Sandy Ground:--- A motorbike rider identified as Alie Irish is now dead while two persons, his girlfriend identified as Delphine Lake and a young child, were critically injured. According to information reaching SMN News, Irish was riding his motorcycle in Sandy Ground with his girlfriend as the pedal rider. At some point, Irish struck a little girl that was crossing the street, leaving her and his girlfriend in critical condition.
Residents of Sandy Ground said the young man was riding his bike at high speed when the accident occurred Friday evening around 8:40pm. Commandant of the Gendarmerie, Paul Betaille confirmed that an accident occurred around 8:40pm in Sandy Ground leaving a 30 year old man dead and two persons severely injured. Betaille said so far the two persons that are now nursing severe injuries at the Louis Constant Fleming Hospital are in stable condition.
