PHILIPSBURG:--- Rotarian Louis Wever has been named "Rotarian of the Year" by the Rotary Club of Sint Maarten-Mid Isle. Outgoing President Jon Hart thanked Mr. Wever and presented him with the recognition for his outstanding dedication and service to the Rotary Club's various projects and activities in the year 2012-2013. In his over ten years with the Rotary Club, Louis Wever has served on several boards, carried the leadership twice as President, and was District 7020 Assistant Governor from 2007-2010. He attended various Rotary International Conventions including the recent one in Lisbon, Portugal. The past Rotary Year he served as Club Service Director and Sergeant-at Arms in the Mid Isle Club.
