MIDDLE REGION:--- Based on information that came into the police department, two marijuana plantations were located. One plantation was located in the hill close to the Basseterre Drive and one in the hill close to Gibbs Drive. On Saturday morning August 3rd, 20 police officers conducted searches to locate these marijuana plantations. A total of 54 marijuana plants and equipment such as plant pots, buckets, and water hoses were also found and confiscated. The plantation in the hill close to Gibbs drive is the same one that was destroyed approximately two months ago. Unknown persons are again busy getting the plantation up and running. No one was arrested during these searches.
