Show to Include Performances by Aidonia, Ding Dong & Incline
PHILIPSBURG:--- International pop star and rapper, Shaggy, is set to bring his famous hit songs to St. Maarten for the SUMMER VYBES 2K13 show on Aug. 23 presented by Guinness in collaboration with S&C Promotion. The event, taking place in Festival Village at 8 p.m., will also include performances by Aidonia, Ding Dong and Incline.
Tickets can be purchased in advanced from Vandorp shop locations and at SOS Radio for $30 or at the gate the day of the event for $40. VIP tickets are also available for $100. The concert will be hosted by Elektra of Laser 101 and will include special appearances by Sugary Treasure Models and DJ Baby Face & The Official Band.
"St. Maarten continues to solidify its reputation as the 'entertainment capital of the Caribbean' by bringing Shaggy to the island," said Edward Dest, interim director of tourism for the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau, a sponsor of the event. "We're excited to see residents and visitors coming together for a fun night filled with great music."
Shaggy is best known for the hit singles "Boombastic," "It Wasn't Me" and "Angel."
