CFT Advised Dutch Government to Give St. Maarten an Instruction --- Chairlady of Parliament was notified on Tuesday.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The College Financieel Toezicht (CFT) has sent an advice to the Dutch Government to issue an instruction to St. Maarten. The letter of the CFT to the Dutch Government was sent on Monday. The Chairlady of the Parliament of St. Maarten Gracita Arrindell was notified of the advice the CFT sent to the Dutch Government on Tuesday while St. Maarten Parliament was busy handling the "Bosman" law.

The letter to Chairlady Arrindell quoted article 14.3 of the Financial Supervision Act of Curacao and St. Maarten.
The CFT in their letter said that they sent an advice to the Kingdom Council of Ministers informing them that they should give St. Maarten an instruction based on Article 14, Paragraph 2 in order for the country to establish a fixed budget that complies with the Kingdom law.

CFT advises Council of Kingdom Ministers to give an instruction to Sint Maarten to adopt its budget.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The Board of financial supervision (College financieel toezicht - Cft) has advised the Council of Ministers of the Kingdom on September 2nd to give an instruction to Sint Maarten in order to accomplish an adopted 2013 budget that complies with the norms of the Kingdom Act.

The Cft has reached this decision in view of the fact that Sint Maarten still does not have an adopted 2013 budget. The deadline the Cft and Sint Maarten agreed on was end of August.
