CUPECOY:--- On Thursday September 5th, 2013 at approximately 3:00pm, a police patrol was sent to Porto Cupecoy to investigate an armed robbery. On the scene the investigating officers spoke to the on duty security officer who stated that earlier before he saw two young men riding on a scooter coming from the French side enter the premises. A short while after he saw the same young men leaving the premises in the direction of the French side. The security guard continued by saying that he later learnt that the two young men in question had robbed the office of "Low Lands Management and Partners" at gunpoint. The investigating officers went to the scene where they talked to the two employees of the establishment who stated that they were robbed at gunpoint by the two young men who tied them up with "binding straps". The robbers searched the entire office, taking four cellular phones and a small amount of cash. The Special Robbery Unit is investigating the case.
