PHILIPSBURG:--- The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams received a courtesy call by head of the Dutch Secret Service the "Algemene Inlichtingen en Veiligheids Dienst" (AIVD) Marc Kuipers (right) at her Cabinet on Monday. Mr. Kuipers has been head of the AIVD since the 1st of November 2012 and has been active at the organization since 2005. The Prime Minister commented after the visit on the relationship between the AIVD and its counterpart on St. Maarten the VDSM; "There is an ongoing working relationship between the two services. On Monday Mr. Kuipers reiterated the AIVD's commitment to continue the assistance and collaboration with our local national security, the VDSM."
