GUANA BAY:--- Several police patrols, detectives, and paramedics were sent to a home on Canoe road to investigate a robbery in which persons were injured. On the scene the investigating officers spoke to a couple and their teenage daughter living at the home who stated that shortly before, four unknown men had forced their way into their home and violently robbed them at gunpoint. During the robbery the couple was struck in their heads with the butt of the gun. The robbers threatened to use their weapons if the couple did not hand over the money. The robbers succeeded in taking an amount of cash and a laptop computer. After committing this act, the robbers fled the scene. The victims' injuries were treated by paramedics. The Detective Department is investigating this case.
