PHILIPSBURG:--- The Reach Out & Read program for the school year 2013—2014 started on Saturday September 14th, with 30 youngsters between the ages 7—11 registered to improve their reading.
This is the 10th anniversary of the program and at the end of the first session the donors of this year, being the management of Orco Bank and the president of the Institute of the Wise, received a solid round of applause for their contribution of material to enhance the program.
The Reach Out & Touch Foundation also donated a cheque to the Jubilee Library for their continued support and cooperation with the reading program.
The Library which will be celebrating its 90th anniversary was very grateful for the contribution.
