GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Hon. Patricia Lourens-Philip recently met Chicago White Sox Vice President and former MLB player Kenny Williams who paid a courtesy call to the Ministers Cabinet. Williams is visiting the destination on behalf of the St. Maarten Sports Tourism Council, a private non-governmental organization. During the visit to the Minister Cabinet, Williams presented members of the Sports Department with several successful sports related projects for the nation's youth.
