PHILIPSBURG:--- The President of the Soualiga Corporate Toastmaster Club Ms. Linette Gibs was elated to present Mrs. Leona Romeo Marlin with her Distinguished Toastmaster Award. This award (DTM) is the highest level that any member can achieve once completing the Advanced Communication Gold and Advance Leader Silver assignments. It normally takes 5- 8 years of service and completing the manuals to reach this level. DTM Romeo-Marlin achieved the award within 6 years.
This is not the end of the road for DTM Romeo-Marlin as she intends to start the program over again and assist the club wherever and whenever possible. DTM Romeo Marlin intends to participate and give as many workshops to both members and the general public. This achievement has gained the Soualiga Corporate Toastmasters Club 2 points in its journey to once again become a President Distinguished Club for the year 2013.
