Ministers Richardson, Lourens-Philip, De Weever, and CEO of Harbour Group Mingo present Sister Borgia Primary School with Mosquito Repellent.

Ted Richardson, Minister of Education Hon. Patricia Lourens-Philip, Eunicio Martina, representing the Minister of Public Health Hon. Cornelius de Weever and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the St. Maarten Harbour Group of Companies Mark Mingo, visited the Sister Borgia Primary School in Philipsburg to present school management with mosquito repellent to be used in the country's fight against mosquitoes' that carry dengue/chikungunya mosquito-borne diseases.

The locally made repellent known as "Bug Off" was a donation from the St. Maarten Harbour Group of Companies and a collaborative effort of the Harbour and Ministers Richardson, Lourens-Philip and Minister Hon. Cornelius de Weever.

Sister Borgia School was the first school to receive a supply of the mosquito repellent followed by St. Joseph School, Oranje School and Genevieve de Weever School. The other schools will receive their supply next week.

Schools are reminded once their supply runs out they can contact the St. Maarten Harbour Group of Companies concerning replenishing their stock.
