POINTE BLANCHE:--- On Sunday January 19th, 2014 at approximately 7:00pm, a female vegetable and fruit merchant and her colleagues were robbed by at least four persons. The robbery took place in Pointe Blanche in the vicinity of ICC. At least three of these persons were in the possession of a firearm and there was one driver. The victim and her colleagues were robbed of an undisclosed amount cash. After committing this act, the robbers fled the scene in a small car. A search in the area to locate them did not have a positive result. The Special Robbery Unit is conducting an investigation.
