MARIGOT:--- Sareena Carti, of Avenir Sportif Club of Saint-Martin, received on Saturday, January 18th, 2014 in the omnisport room of Gosier (Guadeloupe), the Trophy of Guadelupean Sport in the category "Better Young Sportswoman" in athletics of year 2013. This demonstration organized by the CROSGUA (Olympic Regional Committee of Guadeloupe) has for objective to encourage the sportsmen, who further to a vote, get their trophies during a gala evening. Sareena who made this trip with her trainer Patrick Trival, was next to the best hopes of medals of the season for Guadeloupe during this evening.
In the afternoon, Sareena realized a beautiful performance by taking away the 300m « cadettes » of the 2nd tour of the intermediaries in 38.88, and arrived second of the 200m women in 24.71. During this competition which was held at the stadium of Les Abymes, Sareena realized minima for the qualification of the 200m of Carifta Games, and ends in 2 tenth of the record of Guadeloupe on the 300m.
