PHILIPSBURG:--- The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams attended the annual meeting between her and the Advisory Board of the Council of Advice at the offices of the Council on the E.C Richardson Street in Philipsburg. The Council of Advice, Vice-Chaired by Mavis Brooks-Salmon, has as its constitutional duty to advise Government and Parliament on items of legislation as outlined in Article 69 of the Constitution. The Council can also advise Government under the same in cases where it considers it necessary, a process called unsolicited advice.
