PHILIPSBURG:--- The President of Parliament Hon. Gracita Arrindell would like to congratulate Tyrone Phelipa for his feat in climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,341 foot mountain) in Tanzania, Africa recently.
The report of this feat appeared in a daily newspaper on Thursday.
Phelipa it has been reported was representing Be The Change Foundation as well as Art Saves Lives Foundation, both Sint Maarten organizations that promote the well-being of the youth of the country.
"I read the story with great interests, and this is truly an encouragement for all young people, there's no mountain high enough if you want to excel and represent your country.
"I extend congratulations to Tyrone Phelipa, his family, the Be The Change Foundation and Art Saves Lives Foundation, on behalf of the Parliament of Sint Maarten.
"These organizations are doing a great job for our community and I encourage them to continue because the work that they do is very important for the development of the youth community," President of Parliament Hon. Gracita Arrindell said on Thursday.
