A sports weekend for Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin.

avenirsportifsportsweekend13022014THE VALLEY, Anguilla:--- Last weekend was very active for the young athletes of Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin. Indeed, on Saturday, February 8th no less than thirty of them, from the beginners to the juniors, traveled to Anguilla, along with the trainers of the club, one of which was Patrick Trival, and some parents. They answered the invitation of Diamond Athletic Club of Anguilla. It is on the track drawn in the grass, that they faced the young people of Anguilla, but also those of Dynamics of St. Maarten and Speedy Plus. The performances were there, and we can note the 3rd place of Rony Félix on 400 m in 57 ", of Magda Duggins and Aliya Amancin on the 400m U12 girls, arriving respectively 2nd and and 3rd in 1 ' 12 and 1 ' 13, and the second place in the shot put for Ayola Dessout with a jet of 8m30.
That very day, three other athletes of Avenir Sportif Club de Saint-Martin flew away towards Guadeloupe to participate in an athletics meeting, accompanied with Claudine Désert co-trainer of the club. This competition "Triathlon", opened to boys and girls under 15, took place at the stage of Petit-Bourg on February 9th, 2014. According to his category and his specialty, every athlete had to make a jump, a throw and a running race.
It is Lisa Coquillas, champion of Guadeloupe 2013 of the 2000m walks works category U12 girls who began the tests with a 2000m walk category U15 girls for which she took the first place in 13 ' 21 " 64.
