Offers Special Congratulations to Four Female Officers
PHILIPSBURG:--- The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams congratulated the eight new Coast Guard officers on successfully completing their training on Curacao. "I would sincerely like to congratulate the Coast Guard officers on successfully completing their training and returning to St. Maarten. The work that you do is essential, especially considering the importance our coast and our sea plays to the economy of St. Maarten. Whether it is protecting our mariners or ensuring law enforcement and drug interdiction your work is very important to the country. I would especially like to congratulate the four female officers; in an environment, which is definitely male dominated, you have successfully completed your training and are returning to do important work for St. Maarten. I would like to congratulate all of the officers in both making St. Maarten proud and in making St. Maarten safe," concluded Prime Minister Wescot-Williams.
