Former General Director of Semsamar placed in Garde à Vue in Guadeloupe --- Suspected of "prise illegal interet".

jeanpaulfisher25062014BASSETERRE:--- A newspaper in Guadeloupe "France Antilles" reported that the former General Director of Semsamar Jean Paul Fisher was arrested late last week and was heard by the Police National who is conducting an investigation surrounding the financial operations of SEMSAMAR.SEMSAMAR is semi private entity of which the Collectivity of Saint Martin owns 51%. This company is the one that is mostly contracted for various projects on the French side. According to the reports of France Antilles, Fisher was released after he was heard but was again arrested on Tuesday and placed in garde à vue as the investigation continues.
They said that Fisher is suspected of "prise illegal interet". A source at the Gendarmerie on St. Martin confirmed the arrest of Jean Paul Fisher but stated that the investigation is being conducted by the Police National in Guadeloupe therefore St. Martin has very little information on the ongoing investigation.
