PHILIPSBURG:--- In 2010 the CPA party was formed solely to ensure that the people of St. Maarten would be guaranteed a voice in Parliament. One, that's only objective was to represent you and you alone, the people of St. Maarten. We toiled and did our best to make sure that we got elected. However because of being a small party with only two members many people did not want to take that chance to elect us to Government. We managed to attract 128 sincere votes without buying none of the votes that we received which we thank God for. During the term of 2010-2014 we have spoken out on many issues that we believed needed to be addressed. By the way we did what we could have done and was even approved by the Electoral Council to run in the upcoming Parliamentary elections. However our board in a meeting put all these pressing matters together and decided after speaking to several political parties that we still wanted to be a part of this election to guarantee proper representation in Parliament. When our final assessment was made we decided to choose the party that we believe that we would best be able to serve you. We chose a party with strong and decisive leader that has a clear direction. We have finally decided to work along with the National Alliance whose slogan is St. Maarten first. This slogan falls just in line with the ideals and aspiration of our party CPA. We will be running two of our candidates on the National Alliance slate namely Ameera Groeneveldt and Jeffrey Richardson because we believe that together with the members of team NA we would be able to make that difference to ensure that your best interest would be served. We are encouraging therefore all the persons that have supported us in the last election to place their trust and confidence in us and also those that believe that we would be able to give you proper representation in Parliament to give us a fair chance to be your representative. We are about competency and commitment. So on August 29 which is Election Day we are urging every voter to go out and vote for your future and your children's future. Vote Team NA, the party that we have chosen to align with. We are contesting this election only because of you, the People of St. Maarten which we will place first because you deserve the best representation.
