GREAT BAY:--- It has been over 72 hours since postulation day and the parliamentary campaign 2014 is heading into full gear. While parties try to figure out what their boundaries are and follow Minister of Justice guidelines - Minister of Public Health, Social Development and Labor has decided not to accept any donations while he is in office and given the sentiments that have been expressed to him by those less fortunate in the districts.
I have listened to many people, younger and older, richer and less fortunate, who have expressed their concerns about the excessive spending during the next six weeks of the campaign. I have decided that any potential political contributions that a company or person is willing to donate to me should be donated to a worthy cause like - St. Maarten AIDS Foundation, Art Saves Lives, Diabetes foundation, NIPA, KeLaHa projects, I Can Foundation, Nature Foundation or any other hardworking organization in our community.
