US Party extends condolences to the families of the victims of flight MH17.

PHILIPSBURG:--- The United Sint Maarten Party (US) has condemned the terrorist act which brought done Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 on Thursday, which claimed the lives of 298 persons including 192 Dutch nationals and 80 children.
The airplane which was flying from Amsterdam destined to Malaysia, was shot down over Ukraine airspace, a current war zone area.
"It is such a sad and tragic situation," a statement from the US Party said. "It is a horrible and very untimely way for anyone to die and our hearts go out to these victims and more so their families who are struggling to deal with their deaths and in addition the international crisis that has resulted from this ghastly event."
This crash has been declared a criminal act and a humanitarian disaster affecting the more than 12 nations from which the 298 victims originated from.
"It is an unimaginably cruel act which has left the Dutch community in a state of shock and mourning as more than half of the passengers are from the Netheerlands" they said. "Even as we are in the midst of campaigning for elections, we should all take a moment to pause, to lend support and extend our sympathies to our fellow Dutch counterparts and to all the other countries and families who have lost someone on that plane on Thursday."
