Last Sunday, HMF and the creative team of the show Forget the Popcorn organized auditions.
HeadMade Factory will present a new show in St Martin, gathering together dance, visual arts, music and performing arts. The Artistic Direction of this future show includes on the one hand the two artists members of HeadMade factory, the choreographer Peggy OULERICH and the stage director Hans MINNAERT, and on the other hand two colleagues working on the scenography : Stephen Winkel for the creation of the stage settings, and Eric Fayon for the conception of lights and videos.
In this context, the day of auditions aimed at selecting young talents from the island.
Twelve young dancers from both parts of the island were present, either self-taught, or formed by various schools as the National Institute of Art and the Temps Danses Académie.
The Jury was excited by the vitality and the talent of the participants ; hence the selection was tough. In the end, only four young dancers were pre-selected : Lian Borsje, Lucie orbinien, Marine Caillet and Zoe Van Zaldelhof.
Two confirmed dancers already used to the stages of St Martin were selected as well : Melvin Leblanc and Clifford Henry.
The rehearsal started already, and we will keep you informed about the steps necessary for the creation of the show.
Be patient, and while you are waiting : Forget the popcorn... !!!
