PHILIPSBURG:--- Based on the proposal of the projection "Youth Care Center" the Minister of Justice decided to name this center the "Miss Lali Center" after the late Mrs. Eulalie Meyers who was a staunchand faithful volunteer, supporter and spiritual guide of the prison inmates on St. Maarten.
In a meeting held the Minister requested the permission from the Meyers Family to use the name for this purpose.
The Family members reacted with enthusiasm on this proposal and gladly gave their permission.
Present at the gathering were Jackie, Molly, the Minister Dennis Richardson, Ms. Richelda Emmanuel, Gwendolyn and Charles Meyers.
