Attendees can win two-night stay in new Sonesta Ocean Point Resort
MAHO:--- Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino will again be the host of the St. Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association's (SHTA) annual Crystal Pineapple Awards on Friday, November 21. The resort continues to be the picture perfect setting for the annual gala event during which SHTA recognizes excellence in service and outstanding performance at the various levels and throughout the different sectors of the tourism industry.

The gala evening includes a sumptuous dinner, live entertainment, a silent auction, a raffle and much more. Several Maho Group's employees have been nominated for Crystal Pineapples. All attendees of the Crystal Pineapple Gala will have the chance to win a two-night stay at Sonesta Ocean Point Resort, the newest addition to The Maho Group. To enter the contest, attendees must "like" the Maho Beach Resort Facebook page and upload from the gala directly to the page and "check-in" at Maho Beach Resort. These steps will ensure the photo shows up on Maho Beach Resort's timeline.
Maho Beach Resort will share uploaded photos then people who post will need to tell others on Facebook to go to Maho Beach Resort's Facebook Page to find their photo to like, comment or share the photo. The photo with the most "likes," comments and shares will be chosen as the contest winner.
The Crystal Pineapple Award Gala is the only event on the island that recognizes Hospitality & Trade personnel, organizations and associations for their contribution towards the tourism industry. Individuals who are employed in the Hospitality and Trade industry can receive awards in the categories of Accommodations, Restaurants, and Trade as well the category Outstanding Community Service Achievement.
